Complete Teacher Development Workshops:

Workshops are designed for the consultant to work with teachers on the planning, implementation and understanding of various topics or methodology. Teachers’ content knowledge is enhanced by focusing on essential questions, big ideas and hands-on methods for engaging students in the content. These workshops also identify conceptual tasks and activities that will interest different types of learners and highlight methods to meet the needs of a wide range of students. 

Classroom Demonstration/Supportive Instruction:

 

Consultants will either co-teach or support the head teacher of the class with the implementation of an instructional method or topic; typically a lesson demonstrated during previous teacher development workshop or meeting.

 

 

In-the-Moment (ITM)™ Classroom Support:

 

ITM classroom support allows S.E.E.D.S. consultants to counsel and guide teachers and instructional staff within their natural learning environment…their classroom.  After initial classroom observations and introductory meetings with faculty and staff, S.E.E.D.S. can use assistive technology to provide dynamic coaching and support “in the moment.”  ITM support offers direct guidance for beginning and developing teachers that can enhance their instructional practices and improve student achievement.

 

Instructional Technology Workshops:

 

Consultants will introduce steps for teachers to take to ensure efficient and productive technology implementation into their classrooms. Teachers will receive training from the basic needs of utilizing a smartboard to the most complex methods for utilizing ipads. The content of these sessions are identified by the need of each school and are intended to enhance each teacher’s ability to differentiate instruction using the multiple methods of technology.
